Hello Living room loungers, play corner pals, new table neophytes, coffee connoisseurs and lovers of Beans in the Belfry,
on four Tuesdays in February, Mel and the Beans’ staff will be touching up, sprucing up and finishing up repairs and improvements to our favorite Cafe and Meeting Place that have been on hold. Waiting for the return of ‘Snow-Mageddon’ so the roads will be impassible for customers, (we may get a day soon), well, we have considered it. Finally, we agreed, it has to be done right. 
We can’t have varnish on your veggies, sealer salads, no saw dust in your soup nor linseed lattes.
So, Beans will close on the four Tuesdays in February, February 2, 9, 26 and 23, to do some long deferred maintenance.
To be clear, we will be open on 25 of the 29 days in February (yes Mel even arranged for a 29th day in February) and will miss Ground Hog Day, but not Super Bowl, Iowa Primary, Presidents’ nor 
Valentine’s Day.
We hope you’ll find our February Tuesday repairs worth the inconvenience of closed doors on that day, and please cheer us on and hail our efforts from Tuesday to Tuesday. As always, your comments are welcome and appreciated.
