Dear Friends, Neighbors and Guests,
we have been promised a sunny Easter weekend which is a welcoming occasion for a drive into the Maryland countryside.
Set your sight on Brunswick on the Potomac River, a historic railroad town with access to the C&O Canal towpath for hiking and biking. Don’t worry, it’s practically level – no hills. Brunswick however is known for it’s hills and for the quaint coffee house located in a century old brick church building: Beans in the Belfry, that’s us.
‘Beans’ refers to coffee beans, ‘single origin’ from India, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania to name a few, locally roasted in Frederick and freshly ground and brewed by our talented baristas in Brunswick who make delicious lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, milkshakes, smoothies and more.
But that’s not all, we serve all day breakfast dishes, soups, salads and paninis.. Come in the afternoon and enjoy layer cakes, lemon bars, Italian almond cream cake, cannoli, freshly baked pies and so on. Check out our beverage, food, beer and wine, children’s and afternoon tea menus on our website. If the sun plays along, you can sit in our sidewalk or garden area and watch the world parade by in their Easter finery.
